One Way Switching
DB (MCB) → 1‑gang switch → light
Simple One Way Lighting Circuit Supply L & N Light Lamp between N and SL Switch (1‑gang) COM → L1 Supply cable L N Switch drop L to COM SL back to lamp Live (L) Switched live (SL) Neutral (N)
Connections (typical):
- Supply provides L and N to the light point
- The switch breaks the L only: permanent L down to COM, return SL from L1 back to the light
- The lamp connects between N and SL
